The Enlightened Explorer recently enjoyed a hike at Mission Trails Regional Park. Mission Trails Regional Park, http://www.mtrp.org, is located 10 minutes from Mission Valley hotels and 15 minutes from downtown/Gaslamp hotels. It features miles of wildland hiking/biking trails, a small lake, the San Diego River, Rockclimbing, interpretive program and much more. Take time out and visit one of San Diego's most beautiful and wild parks.
